We spent Labor Day weekend at Jason's parent's place in Winters, TX. Jason's Papaw was there and his Aunt Peggy showed up too. We played outside, rode the 4-wheeler, ate GREAT food, laughed and made lots of memories. Jaci loved exploring and getting to know the place. She loved seeing all the "ga-ga" (dogs). What a great weekend it was and we were able to relax for a few days. As always, we are so grateful for time with our families.
Jason's dreams are coming true!! Jaci's finally learning to "run errands" for us around the house. She picked this up while we were visiting Jason's parents for Labor Day.
Jaci likes to go "bye-bye" now. She grabs her purse & all necessities for her trip.
This HAS to be the BEST Birthday EVER!! Thanks to my WONDERFUL husband, family and my friends! Jason was able to sneak around A LOT and had so many surprises in store for my 30th. First, he surprised me by bringing in our good friends from Chicago, Jonna & George Parr. Then we went to dinner and the whole "Crew" was there. THEN, as if that wasn't surprise enough, he took us all to see Rascal Flatts in concert at The AAC. After that we headed back to our house for some karaoke & cake. It was an absolute BLAST!! I will never forget that day! On Saturday, my Mom & Dad threw me a family surprise party at their house. All my family was there and the decorations were 70's themed. She had candy from 1977 and had childhood to current pictures scattered all over the place. I felt so special and I even cried a little bit (but that may be from the pregnant hormones). What an amazing Birthday!! Thanks to EVERYONE!!!
Josh & Leia's little boy, Alex, turned 2 on July 13, 2007. We helped him celebrate at a park. We had so much fun watching all the kids play and watching Alex open gifts and eat his cake (with black icing) ! He's such a precious little boy!! Jaci had a GREAT time on the swings and just running around outside. She loves being outside. She was pretty tired and sweaty by the time we were through, but it was all worth it. Happy Birthday Alex!! We Love you!
I was reunited, after 10+ years, with my best friend in High School over the weekend. Roxanne Underwood, now Arwood, and I were inseperable for 3 years in High School. She was the first to befriend me and was ALWAYS there when I needed her. Somehow, we lost touch after she graduated a year before me and were reunited thanks to MySpace. She is married and has 2 beautiful daughters now, Samantha & Kristen. We decided to get together with our mothers and daughters and have a girls day. The girls played well together and we were able to catch up (as much as you can with 3 little ones running around). It was surreal, seeing her with kids, after all these years. I hope that we will be able to get together in the very near future, or as our busy schedules allow us. What a great day!
